Larry M. Gorzelnik, DMD, MD
Dr. Lawrence Gorzelnik received his M.D. from the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia in 1996 and his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia in 1987. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in 1990 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia followed by two years fellowship training in orthognathic, TMJ, and facial aesthetic surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital and the Graper Facial Institute in Gainesville, Florida. He completed two years of general surgery residency at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey . He now is in part time private practice in Madison, New Jersey and part time academic practice at Rutgers University, Newark.. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Rutgers University. He also is active in the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a Past President of the New Jersey Society. He is currently an attending on staff at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey and University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.
Kristina Hapney, DMD
Dr. Kristina Hapney earned her DMD from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. She is the owner of Five Forks Dental Care and Bella Vita Spa in Simpsonville, SC. She is focused on Total Health Care, Cosmetic Dentistry and Full Mouth Rehabilitation combining sedation, orthodontics, implants and restorative care. She has been teaching nationally and internationally in the areas of Facial Rejuvenation with PRP and How to set up a successful dental spa. She enjoys helping physicians, nurses, and dentists around the country to add esthetic treatments and especially PRP and injectables into their practices to enhance the confidence of their patients.
Karent Sierra, DMD
Best known as the “celebrity dentist,” Dr. Karent Sierra was born into a Columbian family in New York City and raised in Miami. She earned her dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1999 as well as a certificate in cosmetic dentistry from LVI Institute, and she has more than 20 years of practice experience. Dr. Sierra is the owner of a private dental practice/medspa that offers traditional dental services and extreme smile makeovers as well as aesthetic therapies such as skin rejuvenation, body contouring, and painless laser hair removal using advanced techniques such as PRP. She also has a passion for helping others. As the founder of the nonprofit foundation Sharing Smiles, she has traveled to Africa, India, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Colombia to provide dental treatment to patients in some of the poorest communities in the world. Dr. Sierra is known to many for her role in the Real Housewives of Miami series, but she has also been an actor in a soap opera, appeared in over 100 national TV commercials, and hosted various TV shows.

Renato Rossi, DMD, PhD, MS
Renato Rossi is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is currently Professor and Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Sāo Caetano. In addition to clinical practice and training residents, he is active in Research and Pathology, Orthognathic Surgery, and Implantology.
Cathie Ellyn, RN, BSN
Cathie Ellyn is a registered nurse with more than 35 years of experience in clinical care. She earned a BS in nursing from the University of Miami and has provided direct care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. From 2000 to 2021, she worked in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami. During that period, she served for 12 years as a clinical nurse specialist and research coordinator at Jackson South Medical Center, where she was responsible for starting and monitoring IVs for PRP and BMP as well as for IV sedation, among many other duties. Cathie is widely known and recognized for her excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Claudia De Armas, RDH
Claudia De Armas is a dental hygienist who received her training in Spain. She has more than 10 years of experience working in the dental field, including more than 6 years as a dental assistant and phlebotomist. She has been working with Dr. Garg and using PRP clinically for the past 6 years.
Arun K. Garg, DMD
Arun K. Garg, DMD – Is a nationally recognized dental lecturer and clinician, who along with renowned educator and researcher Dr. Robert E. Marx, discovered the benefits of PRP and pioneered PRP-related treatment techniques and research. Dr. Garg served as a full-time professor of surgery in the division of oral and maxillofacial surgery and as director of residency training at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine where he was frequently awarded faculty member of the year by his residents. Dr. Garg is considered the world’s preeminent authority on bone biology, bone harvesting and bone grafting for dental implant surgery and has written and published nine books and over 150 scientific articles. Dr. Garg earned his engineering and dental degrees from the University of Florida and completed his residency training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital.
