Facial Aesthetics Begins With Clinical Judgment

Dermal fillers can complement aesthetic dentistry by supporting facial proportion, perioral rejuvenation, lip definition, and lower-face harmony. Successful treatment, however, requires considerably more than learning where to place a syringe.

This course emphasizes facial anatomy, patient evaluation, case selection, treatment planning, product considerations, clinical technique, documentation, safety, complication awareness, and responsible implementation within the dental practice.

Two-Day Course Experience

From Clinical Principles to Supervised Application

Final clinical activities may vary according to patient availability, clinical appropriateness, faculty assessment, and applicable professional requirements.

Day 1: Anatomy, Assessment and Treatment Planning

Day one establishes the clinical foundation for responsible dermal filler treatment. Faculty instruction includes facial assessment, relevant anatomy, patient selection, product principles, consultation, treatment planning, photography, informed consent, safety, complication awareness, and clinical demonstrations.

Day 2: Faculty-Supervised Hands-On Training

Day two focuses on supervised clinical application. Participants work through patient assessment, treatment mapping, product and technique considerations, procedural workflow, documentation, and post-treatment planning under faculty guidance.

Evaluate facial relationships, asymmetries, volume changes, smile support, lip position, and lower-face balance.

Understand indications, contraindications, medical history considerations, expectations, and factors that may make treatment inappropriate.
